The Role

 

 

Morson is proud to be a key supplier to Transport for London, keeping the capital moving by supporting critical maintenance and upgrade projects. We’re expanding our team and are on the lookout for a dedicated Rail Stores Person to join our Track Access and Protection team in Canning Town. This role is to work the night shifts Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. There is some weekend flexibility. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Looking after PPE, plant, tools, and consumables – making sure everything is stored safely and ready when needed
  • Keeping accurate stock records and ensuring supplies never run low
  • Supporting the Contract Delivery team with admin tasks when required
  • Playing a vital role in the smooth delivery of a safety-critical contract during night shifts

What We’re Looking For

  • Rail experience (London Underground or Network Rail) – essential
  • Stores or stock management background preferred (but full training will be given)
  • Strong IT, organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, independent worker with a full UK driving licence
