Overview of Role
We’re looking for an expert Recruiter within IT Change and Business Transformation who can develop long term client, candidate and contractor relationships. About you
We’re offering a real opportunity for individuals looking to further a successful career in IT / Change recruitment. As a Senior Consultant you’ll be a cornerstone of the Cornwallis team.
We are seeking talented individuals who are experts in their field, enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated to grow professionally and further the ambitions of the company. We broadly require:
- Solid understanding of IT and change within financial markets
- Expert understanding of specific technologies and / or roles
- Experienced with contract and permanent recruitment (or desire to do both)
- Ability to provide leadership support
- Sales and results motivated
- Broad understanding of financial markets (preferable)
Areas of Responsibility
General
- Provide leadership and guidance to Resourcers, Consultants and Admin staff
- Deputising for the Team Lead / Principal Consultant in their absence
- Attending and taking a lead role in company / client events and representing the company in a professional manner
Recruitment
- Warm/cold calling to gain new business
- Dealing with clients, developing long term effective relationships
- Ability to develop business from self-generated leads
- Convert senior candidates into client contacts
- Manage accounts, operating with HR, line managers and 3rd party recruitment desks
- Building long term effective relationships with candidates
- Negotiating rates with clients - both contract and permanent
- Giving presentations to clients
- Overseeing and the management of client accounts
- Responding to tenders
- Meeting contractors on a regular basis
- Be fully conversant with IR35, EAA and other relevant legislation
Sales Targets
- Billings: £250k - £350k
